The RS-MMC has the same 1.4 mm (typ.) thickness as a MultiMediaCard, but is half the size, with dimensions of 18 mm � 24 mm as compared with 32 mm � 24 mm, as well as approximately half the weight. The size advantages also enable the cards to be used as ultra-compact built-in memory modules that can be easily added or replaced.
